Lavender Lori was recently described by a friend as elegant and rugged. Elegant is a stretch but rugged sums it up.
She never was one to play by society's rules or abide anyone telling her what to do. And when others thought her a fool for trying something outside the box of normal reality she did it just to prove to herself that it could be done. She has bucked systems most of her life. Some might call her fiercely independent. She is, without a doubt self reliant and self sufficient.
She is the pioneer for growing a couple types of lavender that were never before tried in Montana, distills her own brand of essential oils and hydrosols, and teaches workshops on various topics.
Five fun facts you might not know about Lori:
She lives in an 11' x 7' truly tiny house.
She lives and farms lavender off the grid.
Riding her Yamaha XT225 and her Harley Sportster 883 makes her almost as happy as being in the mountains. She started riding at the age of 50.
She has a number of published music reviews and articles in magazines and others' blogs, has self published a quarterly newsletter with a garden/farm/living off grid bent since 1995, journals her experience religiously, and has written a book about lavender farming released July 2019
She is a quadruple Capricorn but is thankful for her Sagittarius moon which keeps her socially engaged with a large and ever growing circle of friends.
